Sustainability Oversight and Reporting: The Board's Role

Many leading companies are elevating the oversight and reporting of sustainability and their commitment to social, environmental, and financial responsibility to the board level.  To address this trend and provide thought leadership in this regard, NACD has co-authored theDirector's Handbook on Oversight of Corporate Sustainability Activities with EY, with the goal of elevating sustainability awareness and setting up proper governance guidelines at the board level.

Join us for an enlightening conversation about sustainability oversight and reporting with Steve Starbuck, the EY partner who oversees the development and implementation of climate change and sustainability competencies, and key leaders from two local companies who see sustainability as a business imperative:  Paul Camuti, who leads the enterprise sustainability work at Ingersoll Rand, and Rick Puckett, who has responsibility for sustainability initiatives at Snyder's-Lance.  Moderating the discussion will be Scott Carlton, who has a global perspective on sustainability from his work with German-owned SGL Carbon.
