Jill Niland is the leader of PwC's Global Assurance New Products and Services team, responsible for developing technology-enabled new solutions to benefit PwC's audit and non-audit clients in areas of automation, artificial intelligence and predictive analytics, amongst other areas with a global view.
Jill was formerly the Southeast Leader for PwC's Deals business. In this role, she focused on helping our clients achieve their long-term strategic goals, not just execute transactions by bringing our extensive network of Deals experts to assist Companies with acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures/alliances, corporate finance/strategy matters, or capital market transactions. She was also previously the Atlanta market leader of PwC's accounting advisory practice with more than 15 years experience as an expert in topics such as purchase accounting, revenue recognition, financial instruments and securitizations, consolidation accounting, joint venture accounting, lease accounting, and all other forms of financing transactions.
Erwin Maddrey currently serves on the Boards of BlueCross/Blue Shield of SC and KEMET Corporation. He is also the cofounder and former president, CEO, and director of Delta Woodside Industries, a company that aggregated parts of other textile and apparel companies. Previous to that, Maddrey worked for Riegel Textile Corporation (now part of Mount Vernon Mills) in New York and moved to Greenville, SC when the company moved its headquarters to Greenville.
Erwin has served as a trustee of Davidson College, Virginia Episcopal School, and the SC Independent Colleges & Universities and as president of the Alumni of UNC-Chapel Hill MBA program (now Kenan-Flagler). He currently serves on the Furman University Board, as well as the chair of the Greater Greenville Forum. Erwin is a member of the Boards of Public Education Partners, Upstate Forever, Ten at the Top, the International African-American Museum, and the National Association of Corporate Directors Carolinas Chapter. He has served on the Boards of the Urban League of the Upstate, Palmetto Project, Greenville County Museum of Art, Foundation for Independent Higher Education, SC Governor's School of the Arts Foundation, and the Business Foundation of NC.
Glenn Eisenberg was appointed as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of LabCorp on June 16, 2014. With revenues of over $10 billion, LabCorp is a global Life Sciences company, providing diagnostic testing and drug development services. From January 2002 to March 2014, he was employed by The Timken Company as Executive Vice President – Finance & Administration. The Timken Company is an international manufacturer of highly engineered power transmission products. From January 1990 to May 2001, Glenn was employed by United Dominion Industries, an international manufacturer of proprietary engineered products, where his positions included President and Chief Operating Officer from December 1999 to May 2001 and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from November 1995 to December 1999. Glenn is a director of U.S. Ecology, a leading North American provider of Environmental Services, and was a director of Family Dollar Stores and Alpha Natural Resources.
Alex Brown is a Partner in PWC’s Deals Strategy group. Alex focuses on corporate and portfolio strategy, business unit strategy and M&A strategy for industrial firms. He has 25 years’ experience working with leadership teams to develop and execute growth strategies to achieve and sustain 1st-tier total shareholder returns. He has also worked with leading private equity firms on both growth strategy and operational improvement engagements.
Alberto Dent operates as PwC's Southeast Deals Leader, responsible for all of PwC’s Deals execution capabilities, strategy, and structuring, in the Southeast market –Carolinas, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. He is the also the Global Relationship Partner for several of PwC’s large global clients.
Alberto brings more than 23 years of experience advising clients on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and complex global transactions. He specializes in the Consumer Markets industry.
Alberto resides in Atlanta and was the founding President of the Atlanta Chapter of the Association for Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA).
Alberto received an MBA and a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of Miami, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from the Florida Institute of Technology.
